- I've created some great graphics on the Amiga but need to transfer them
- to the Mac equipment I have at work. My roommate and I both have
- telephone lines and I have been able to connect via telecom programs and
- transfer the files that way. But it ties up the phone lines way too long.
-
- I have an old Mac Plus at home with plenty of room on the external hard
- drive to store the images. I am using White Knight 11.2 on the Mac and
- use NComm on the Amiga (I also have JrComm on the Amiga).
-
- I've tried to make a direct connection from machine to machine via the
- telecom programs, but they seem to be looking for a dial tone and won't
- recognize the direct cable hook up (those are okay).
-
- I also would like to find a common compression program for the Amiga and
- Mac so I could compress the files on the Amiga and decompress them on the
- Mac. Does Mac do Lha? I need to use these images to create a web page on
- the Mac. (Don't have the set-up to do this on the Amiga yet.)
-
- I'd be grateful for any help. Please reply email.
-
- Thanks.
